My Perfect Summer Veggie Sandwich

How to make the perfect summer veggie sandwich (or... what to eat when it's too hot to cook):

Have your loving partner carefully cut up all these ingredients and hope he or she will wait patiently as you photograph them.


Acquire two high quality pieces of bread.
Apply your mayo of choice.
Crank some fresh ground black pepper out on them.

Stack your nice cold cucumber slices next.

Scatter some onion, if you wish.

Add some thickly sliced cheese.

A couple dill pickles.

Now for your perfectly ripe, organic tomato slice.

Top it with some spinach and baby spring mix.

Drop the top and you're ready to go.

Add a side of watermelon, cantaloupe, and blueberries for a sweet cold treat.
